AI is facing a huge Meltdown, Warren Buffett said it's Imminent!!!

Many specialized medical AI startups are failing as venture capital dries up.

This has led to "technical debt" where hospitals are stuck with "zombie" software that is no longer being updated or supported, potentially leading to diagnostic errors as the medical landscape evolves.

There's a major legal "meltdown" regarding insurance companies using AI to automate claim denials. The "AI arms race" between insurers (using AI to deny) and providers (using AI to appeal) has increased administrative costs without actually improving patient health.

As "black box" systems fail, malpractice insurance premiums for radiologists and oncologists are projected to rise by 15–25% this year. Insurers are now adding exclusions for errors caused by AI, leaving doctors in a legal lurch.

Only tools that genuinely reduce doctor burnout or save lives are surviving the budget cuts.

One area remains strong: Ambient Listening. Tools that listen to patient visits and draft clinical notes are now mainstream. This is saving some physicians up to 15–20 hours a week, allowing them to focus on the patient instead of a screen.
